It's been awhile !! Here are some of the things we've been up to !

Jr. Monarch Basketball was a ton of fun this season! Mr. Watts and Tim and Mr.Kneifl did a great job coaching the boys to many victories ! One more year of Fun to go...



Mickey Minnie, Cal and Jill had a wonderful time at Disney World this February. What a magical place...

It's back to school time again...and to our surprise-> the kids are having a blast! Cal is MR. Jr. High. HE Jumps out of bed every morning and is ready to go! This is ODD because Cal hates to get up.... Mmmmmmm, I think maybe the cute Jr. high girls have something to do with this new energy he has found. Jillybean is doing great in 4th grade... she is ready to roll and going to shake things up I'm sure. She officially likes her teacher and that is a blessing... Cal started 7th Grade football yesterday and his FB Coach is the same teacher that Tim Student Taught under back in 1990... It seems odd that we now have a kid in his class... Jill is still doing Tramp and tumbling 2 times a week- she is a power house and I love to watch her improve each year. Tim is golfing and enjoying his time off from coaching in the fall - Football season is all our favorites... Looking forward to both the Monarch and the Husker Football seasons to start ! we are getting a new family Picture taken in a few weeks so I will put that up when we get it !!

Grandma GG

this is my Gram and my Aunt Agnes... they are the cutest sisters. Gram is 94 and not doing so hot this week... she is and always has been my shining star.. I hope I can do as much good in my life as she has in hers. She is the pillar of strength and I love her with all my heart. I Love you Gram.

Tim's favorite present of the night is always "As seen on TV" Jill and I look for the best gadget out there... He loves to wash his Car, so this gift was a big hit !!
Even though he was excited for last years gift " Sham Wow" He gave it only 2 stars out of 4.... we shall see how this one does...

Home from the Hospital

I am home from back surgery. I had my L5 fused. That is the bottom disk in your spine. I added a picture of the spine below with some of the different problems that can occur. evidently my L5 disk had exploded according to my Doctor and was in 3 pieces. I also managed to have a bone spur down there too. I am not sure why my back is in such bad shape- but I'm glad to be home and doing better now. the pain that was radiating down my leg into my foot is gone... whew! but the incision pain is making up for lost time ! OMG the doc must have had a party in my stomach before he sewed me up... I hear it is a lot like C-section pain. So that is the latest scoop.

Cal is playing basketball- Jill is getting ready for her meet on Dec 13th and I am in recovery- Tim is being Tim...
We are planning to head t Arkansas for Thanksgiving if my body will cooperate.
